Through a recent collaboration between the Victorian Government and VECCI called  Carbon Down, a pilot study revealed that it was possible for businesses to reduce their bills and their carbon footprint whilst taking up GreenPower.

Businesses were divided into two groups:

Group 1 < 40 MWh p.a.

59 Sites were assessed, 90% showed it was possible to save money and take up on average 30% GreenPower, through paying attention to the electricity bill.

Group 2 > 40MWh p.a.

12 sites were assessed, 83% of these showed it was possible to save 6% on their electricity bill and on average take up 40% GreenPower.•
