Using the GreenPower logo
If your business, council or government agency switches to GreenPower it may be eligible to use the GreenPower logo on marketing materials and signage to demonstrate your commitment to the environment. To be eligible, businesses, councils and government agencies must meet the minimum contribution level listed below. The NSW Department of Water and Energy provides the use of the GreenPower logo in such circumstances at no charge once a GreenPower customer logo license has been completed and returned.
For energy-based GreenPower schemes the minimum percentage level is based on the energy purchased each year.
| >40 GWh/annum | 2.5% of energy purchased (in kWh) |
| >20 GWh/annum | 5% of energy purchased (in kWh) |
| >4 GWh/annum | 10% of energy purchased (in kWh) |
| >750 MWh/annum | 25% of energy purchased (in kWh) |
| >160 MWh/annum | 50% of energy purchased (in kWh) |
| <160 MWh/annum | 75% of energy purchased (in kWh) |
