State governments around Australia have teamed up to run the GreenPower accreditation program.

GreenPower representatives include:

• Australian Capital Territory, Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate

• New South Wales, Department of Planning, Industry and Environment

• South Australia, Department of Energy and Mining

• Victoria, Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.

The National GreenPower Accreditation Program sets the rules for GreenPower products and independently audits GreenPower retailers’ sales and purchases and generators’ operations to make sure they are meeting the accreditation criteria.

The Queensland and Tasmanian State Governments participate in the Program as observers.
