On Monday 21 May 2018, The National GreenPower Steering Group and the NSW Department of Planning and Environment hosted the inaugural GreenPower Stakeholder Forum, held in Sydney.

The forum included:

- A keynote presentation from Kane Thornton, CEO of the Clean Energy Council.

- Discussion and debate on opportunities and challenges for GreenPower in the energy market.

- Analysis of the impact of the National Energy Guarantee and evolving renewable financing opportunities.

- The launch of new GreenPower initiatives, including the GreenPower for Businesses Guide.
