The National GreenPower Steering Group (NGPSG) is seeking comment on the GreenPower Transition to Full Industry Funding Consultation Paper.
The NGPSG, in consultation with industry at the Provider Forum in 2012, made a decision to move to full industry funding from 1 January 2013. This transition will help ensure the continued success of the National GreenPower Accreditation Program in the future and establish it as a financially viable accreditation program funded independently of the budgetary arrangements of the State and Territory Government Steering Group Members.
This Consultation Paper outlines various funding models for the distribution of GreenPower Provider fees, commencing in 2013, based on full cost recovery of the Program’s costs from industry.
Please send responses via email to greenpower@dwe.nsw.gov.au by 5PM, Wednesday 9 January 2013 with the subject line "Response to GreenPower Transition to Full Industry Funding Consultation Paper Dec 2012".
Submissions on the Consultation Paper may be published on the website at the discretion of the NGPSG, unless the respondent requests that the submission remain confidential.
The NGPSG is unlikely to respond directly to submissions. However, should common themes arise in submissions from multiple respondents, the NGPSG may publish a collated response on the website.
The NGPSG will take all submissions into consideration before finalising the funding model to be used for the distribution of GreenPower Provider fees commencing in 2013.
