This year we’ve taken our reporting to the next level with the introduction of the GreenPower Annual Report 2025. Take a look at our operational highlights and key achievements over this period.
The Program’s overarching mission to help energy users access government-accredited, Australian-made renewable electricity and renewable fuels to reduce emissions is on track.
The Annual Audit Compliance Report 2025 [link], an independent audit confirming GreenPower Provider’s compliance and overall GreenPower sales for 2025, has informed the Annual Report.
Key findings
Product Development
- The Renewable Gas Certification scheme advanced significantly, with the first accredited Traders and new biomethane projects emerging across Australia.
Growing markets
- GreenPower Providers matched more than 2.4 million MWh of customer electricity use with GreenPower renewable electricity in 2025. This was a 19% increase on 2024 sales and a 300% increase on 2020 sales.
- One new GreenPower Provider and 5 renewable electricity Generators joined the program.
- Large organisations continued to participate through GreenPower’s Corporate Direct Product.
Marketing
- The GreenPower brand continues its promise of transparency and accountability through clear rules, independent audits, and government oversight.
